Enjoy Maths was founded by Sarah Rowntree, a primary school teacher with more than 25 years’ experience in the classroom.

Sarah Rowntree

I have been maths subject leader for 17 years and gained the Maths Specialist Teacher qualification in 2012. I am passionate about maths and want others to feel the same way.

I keep up to date with mathematical developments in Education through reading and research. I regularly attend PD sessions and enjoy being part of focus groups developing new materials.

In my role as Maths Subject Leader, I have led many improvements and initiatives within school. I have also shared some of these more widely, participating in action research projects and delivering workshops at Gloucestershire Maths Subject Leader meetings.

Most recently, I studied for an NPQ and subsequently used this learning to write and deliver a course for The Gloucestershire Schools Partnership designed to support Middle Leaders.
